Goodbye and good luck!

What a lovely last week it has been so far! On Monday, all of Year 2 went to the park for their leavers’ party. We had a great time playing and we all enjoyed our ice lollies in the sun. On Tuesday, everyone who completed the reading challenge took part in a campfire. We toasted marshmallows, sang songs and had some popcorn. In the afternoon, Class 7 had their marble reward. It was a loom band afternoon. Everyone shared the bands really sensibly and we were all helping each other to learn the steps to make bracelets, rings, key rings and lots of other things out of the bands. It was a really brilliant afternoon. Today, we will be going into the hall with the rest of the school to watch the finals of Hilltop’s Got Talent. Congratulations to Zack the Magician, Aaron the Comedian and Ruby the Singer for getting voted through to the final by the rest of Class 7. We wish you the best of luck!

Tomorrow will be our last day in Year 2. We have had a brilliant year and had lots of fun! Good luck for the Juniors! Everyone is going to have a great time continuing their learning and taking part in school life as they move up through the school but Class 7 and all the other Year 2s will be missed by all the children and staff back here at the Infants. Have an amazing summer (you all deserve it) and don’t forget to pop back for a visit to let us know how you are getting on!

Happy Holidays!
