Week 2

Posted by on 15/06/2015

Last week in class 7 we looked closely at our painting of Mr and Mrs Andrews and designed our own clothes for them. We thought about how they dressed in the 1700s and compared it to how we dress today. We wrote a lovely letter to Thomas Gainsborough explaining what we had been learning about, and questions we would like to have been able to ask him about the painting.

In Maths we worked hard to multiply and then used our multiplication facts for division. We are going to use these skills to answer word problems by acting and drawing them out,

In Geography we learnt about the UK and capital cities. We now know there is England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland which make up the UK and we can name their capital cities. We sectioned the UK off into countries and labelled it.
